Utilities

Inspired by owners, operators, and associated trades, Sound Marine® has incorporated, into it's standard design criteria, the use of prefabricated utilities chase(s). These extemely versatile raceways are built into the floating dock system to meet the utilities requirement for each site-specific application. Allowances are made to accomodate utilities segregation, as well as special use situations, providing an uninterrupted path for electrical, H20, CATV, phone, fuel lines, dry standpipe, and others. Access to this chase system is as simple as unscrewing a deck board. In areas that may require repeated or quick access, an optional inspection hatch can be installed. The utilities chase may be lined (optional) with a geo-textile monofilament fabric that provides a flat, smooth, and unobstructed surface for the installation of associated utilities. The fabric allows the transfer of water and compliments a trade friendly chase unique to Sound Marine®.
